They did a phenomenal job with taking down a tree close to our fence without incident. I have never witnessed such perfect work with taking down the tree like that. They also grinded up all the stumps in our yard and even one root stump that I talked about getting later but they knocked it out as a courtesy.

Very professional from start to finish. Halls responded quickly to my request for an estimate and when they came out they took the time to hear what I needed for my project and thoroughly explained their process. I found their quote to be very reasonable and competitive. They did not waste any time, and the investment they’ve placed in their business enabled them to work efficiently. I had several large trees that needed to be removed and a small are on my property that needed be cleared of saplings. Multiple companies explained that they would need to climb my largest tree, which increased the time and complexity of the project. Halls used their bucket truck, which allowed them to cut down on the time needed to finish the project and keep the rate lower. Great experience, had trees split from a recent storm dangerously near house and wanted to clear some other concerning trees away, called them, they came out within an hour, great price estimate on whole thing, and they cleared away everything in about 4 hours same day. Really couldn’t be happier. Would use again anytime. Highly recommended.

Thank you. 6/25/24: Hall’s Tree reached back out to me after posting my review and we’re discussing options. – Appears there were miscommunications and/or misunderstandings about the hickory tree (both before and after the work was done). Hopefully the tree will be fine. – The owner was initially responsive about my driveway but didn’t reply to my emails after the first day which was concerning to me. According to my video cameras, the stains are a mix of gas and oil (damages asphalt). Since he reached back out today, I hope that this can be resolved now. 6/25/24: Original review (slightly edited to reduce length): I had work completed on 6/20/24. 1. Thin canopy of large tree: 3/5 This was the main reason I contacted Hall’s, but I wish I’d left this tree alone. Before and after photos posted. 2. Small tree removal: 5/5 This was a small tree that I had considered removing myself but I decided to have it removed at the same time as the hickory was thinned to save myself some work. The stump that was left behind is quite a bit taller than I would’ve left so I still need to cut that down. 3. Care of asphalt driveway: 1/5 Wish they had not poured gas/lubricants into equipment while on my 2.5 year old driveway that was sealed 7 months ago. This resulted in gas/oil stains that I spent many hours trying to clean. I will have the asphalt company advise how to proceed. (Note: Hall’s Tree Service has stopped responding to my emails. I will be happy to work with them if they want to follow up on this issue.) Photo is from today (5 days after work), after sweeping up kitty litter.

These guys are GREAT! Very professional and thorough. Alex is a wealth of knowledge and answers any questions you may have. I will use them again. They cut down 2 trees and removed nasty, huge roots going into my neighbor’s yard and in our foundation and driveway. They are even planting a tree, which was included in the price.

Halls has taken a few trees down for us and trimmed other trees! The staff is amazing and so helpful and they take the upmost care for your property and safety of thier team! They were on time and I would recommend them any time!

I can’t say enough good things about Alex and his team, they arrive early set up everything professionally and get right to work. I was thoroughly impressed enough that I left the job to take care of other business and was thoroughly impressed with the progress when I checked in and the finale of dropping the last tree cleaned everything up like they weren’t even there and even fixed my yard lamp top on his way out (Thanks Alex). I really enjoy supporting a veteran owned businesses, and it shows by the quality of work!

Professional in all aspects of their work. On time for appointments, with clear and complete bid submissions, responded several times to my wife’s requirements and concerns (steep driveway adjustments & structural protection descriptions, crew safety assurances, 3 bid adjustments). Alex being a Certified Arborist and choosing to make the investment in great people, their equipment and it’s maintenance makes this company one of the very best in the area. We will use Hall’s Tree Service again!

Getting a stump removed was a lot less pain than I thought it would be. Everything (except the work of course) was completed online. Because I had a good picture with a ruler in it, they were able to give me an estimate without coming out. That certainly speeded up the process. Initial contact to complete job in just over a week. Three of those days were waiting for Miss Utility to mark the job site. Plus it cost a lot less than I thought it would. The tech arrived on time and explained exactly what he was going to do. Highly recommend this company.

If I could give Hall’s 10 stars I would! I had two very old, large, dead trees (one over 200 years old). Alex and his crew accepted the challenge and rocked it! Both trees were strategically cut down utilizing multiple methods, hauled away and stumps grinded. The amount of detail the crew paid to ensure that every single branch of the trees were lowered in a controlled manner definitely took the stress off of me. The larger of the two trees was in a very tight spot with four houses/ sheds/patios/yards all very close together creating the perfect storm for someone to have to file an insurance claim. Not one thing noted to be damaged though!!!! The communication was great with me as a customer, but also amongst the crew members. Alex was very clear with his commands during each operation and would ensure all the crew members knew exactly what they were doing. I even heard him giving positive feedback to the crew members and telling them they “did a good job on that one”. This is so rare yet I appreciate it so much! I am very big on safety precautions and I feel like this crew would make even OSHA happy. The interaction the crew had with my neighbors and respect they showed ensuring everything was cleaned up from multiple yards each day was stellar! My only complaint is that I was so intrigued by their operation, I spent HOURS watching them instead of doing work! I highly recommend Hall’s Tree Service!!!!

Alex and his crew were on time, efficient, and professional. For a very reasonable fee, he and his crew removed a huge dead tree, ground down a bunch of large and small stumps, chipped a bunch of small trees I had already cut, and cleaned up to my specifications with no questions asked. They were recommended to me and I will recommend them to everyone who asks!

I used this service for two different jobs at two different locations. Bottom line “Outstanding” highly recommend. First job: was at a non-profit conservation club where he donated a full day of removing some VERY large trees blocking a road and also removed other that would likely come down this winter. Very safe and professional operations even with a handful of volunteers to help Second job: At my home trimming dead and broken branches resulting from decades of storm & insect damage on a yard full of trees. He runs very safe and professional operation. Quality work and the clean-up was outstanding!
